The Royal Haunt Cocktail is a play on the classic Manhattan with a haunted Halloween twist. Cassis liqueur is used to add a bit of royal, or blood, color. A few dashes of walnut bitters round out the flavor profile for a simple and well-balanced cocktail.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1 oz Cassis Liquor Montbisou preferred
  • 3 dashes Black Walnut Bitters
  • 1 Maraschino Cherry Luxardo
  • 1 cube Dry ice For garnish

Method
 

  1. Place maraschino cherry at the bottom of your serving glass.
  2. Add Bourbon and Cassis to a shaker.
  3. Add 4-6 cubes of ice to the shaker and shake vigorously.
  4. Strain into a coupe glass and add a small dry ice cube for garnish and effect. Serve.
