It is located in Newark and is a place that is visited by more than 9 million people annually. Various events are held here every day, so there is always something to see for visitors and locals. Many famous singers, dancers and musicians have performed on the stage of this establishment, many of whom have left their mark on the culture and art of New Jersey. Another popular establishment is located in Millburn. It is called the Paper Mill Playhouse and is a theater that is famous for musicals, plays and concerts. Professional artists participate in the events, so any performance becomes exciting for people of different ages. No less impressive events take place on the stage of the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank. This establishment allows visitors to listen to the best symphonic music and jazz, and enjoy ballet and other performing arts.

Museums

In NJ museums, you can explore the military might of the United States, various architectural masterpieces, vehicles, scientific achievements, works of art, and even glass production. Such a vast selection opens up unlimited opportunities for people with any interests to get acquainted with the cultural life of the Garden State.

The largest in NJ is the Newark Museum of Art. It allows visitors to immerse themselves in art and science, get acquainted with the state’s past and present, and enjoy various educational activities for all family members. On the museum grounds, you can see numerous exhibitions, stroll through the sculpture garden, relax in the planetarium, and even feed the animals in the mini-zoo. Another famous institution located in Trenton is the NJ State Museum. It attracts visitors with unique exhibits, the total number exceeding 2 million. In Morristown, there is one of the oldest museums in the state – Morris Museum. This institution covers many areas, so it attracts the attention of many people. The Artful Deposit Gallery is a great place to get acquainted with the art of New Jersey. It is located in Bordentown and allows everyone to enjoy artists’ works that represent different directions. It exhibits both works of art created by masters with an international reputation and the work of emerging artists that few people know about outside the state.
