Peruvian Pisco Sour Cocktail

The Pisco Sour is an deliciously bright and refreshing cocktail. This sour cocktail is balanced out by the addition of egg whites and Angostura bitters.

01 Pisco brandy 

02 Lime juice + zest

03 Egg whites

04 Simple syrup

05 Ice cubes

Zest Limes

Zest your limes for garnish before you slice them.

Squeeze Limes

Squeeze 2 ounces of lime juice into a measuring cup. Pour into blender.

Add the Pisco

Measure out 3 ounces of the Pisco Brandy and pour into blender.

Make the simple syrup

Measure out 1.5 ounces of simple syrup and add to the blender.

Add the egg whites

Add about 1 tablespoon of egg whites. 

Blend the ingredients

Start by blending all ingredients together on low, then slowly increase speed. Stop blending once the mixture has become frothy.

Add the bitters

Pour the blended mixture into the cocktail glasses and add 3 dashes of Angostura bitters.
